Description

This ride will give you a lifetime of memories of Southern Indian states where you can experience the diverse sights of the Karnataka, previously known as State of Mysore. This tour includes visits to temples and performances by local artists which one can enjoy. The ride passes through different kinds of terrain and historal sites in Southern India.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Bangalore – Mysore (B/L/D)
Upon arrival in Bangalore, we will pick you up and drive to Mysore. Once there, we will transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay

Day 2: Mysore – Nandiggunda (B/L/D)
We will commence the ride from Mysore to Nandiggunda where we will spend the night. The evening will be spent being entertained by local artist in Nandiggunda.

Day 3: Nandiggunda – Somanthapura (B/L/D)
On day 3, we leave for Somanthapura. Along the way, we will stop at the temple and go to Bkulbetta, where we will stop for the night followed by evening entertainment by local artist.

Day 4: Somanthapura – Talakadu (B/L/D)
We leave for Talakadu, a historic site where over 30 temples are buried in sand. Generally once every 5 years or more, the sand dwindles and one can see the temples more clearly. There is lot history surrounding the temples.

Day 5: Talakadu – Narsipur (B/L/D)
Day 5 commences with a ride to Narsipur where we will spend the night.

Day 6: Narsipur – Handinru – Mysore (B/L/D)
Today we will proceed to Handinru for the day. After visiting, we will return back to Mysore.

Day 7: Mysore – Bangalore – Out (B/L/D)
The day will commence with a transfer to Bangalore airport to catch the flight to onward destination.
